On 22nd October at 8.00pm, our Members Meeting is a short film called "Guardians of the Grassland" which will be followed by a Q&A session with two of the participants.

This film is being hosted by The Farming Forum and the link will not work until 7.55pm with the film starting at 8.00pm

Please click here to access the film.

The film lasts approximately 15 minutes and then you will be joined by Mickenzie Plemel-Stronks and Ben Campbell for a chance to ask questions.

Mickenzie has a deep passion for agriculture and conservation and has brought those together in her role at Ducks Unlimited Canada as a Beef Industry Liaison.  Currently on educational leave to pursue a Masters degree, Mick continues to advocate for the beef industry as an important partner in maintaining native grasslands and wildlife habitat.

Ben, along with his wife and children, operates Grazed Right, a ranching operation in southern Alberta.  They sell their grass-finished beef direct to consumers and through retail partners and host various tours to the public. Ben is very active in the Canadian beef industry as a Cattlemen's Young Leaders graduate and has held leadership positions in various grazing associations.
