AGM AND ANNUAL CONFERENCE - 12TH AND 13TH FEBRUARY 2025.
VENUE: The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Hawthorn Square, Forth Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE1 3SA.

If you are booking for more than one person, please specify details for each individual. Once your booking is received, you'll get an invoice via QuickBooks. Please check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it or contact me immediately. Your place will be confirmed after payment is received.

*The 1-day ticket includes dinner. There is no discount for not having dinner.
Last date for booking is 24th January 2025. Payment must be made by 27th January 2025 to secure your booking, and if we do not receive payment by that date, you will not have a place. Refunds are not available.

- S1 Roast Tomato and Red Pepper Soup finished with Basil Oil - (Allergens Gluten, Soya, Milk, Celery - May Contain: Eggs) GF available.
- S2 Chicken, Pancetta and Apricot Terrine with Beetroot & horseradish chutney - (Allergens: Gluten, Sulphur Dioxide - May Contain: Tree Nuts, Celery, Mustard, Sesame).
- S3 Three Cheese & Onion Chutney Tart with Pea shoots, sweet red peppers, balsamic glaze - (Allergens: Gluten, Eggs, Milk, Sulphur Dioxide. May Contain: Celery, Mustard).
- M1 Brown Ale Braised Beef with garlic pomme puree, maple-glazed parsnips, haricots verts, and a red wine & mushroom jus - (Allergens: Gluten, Milk, Celery, Sulphur Dioxide).
- M2 Slow cooked Pork Shoulder with pressed sausage gratin, roast carrots, tender-stem broccoli and cider-soaked sultana jus - (Allergens: Gluten, Tree Nuts, Celery, Sulphur Dioxide. May Contain: Soya, Eggs, Milk, Mustard, Sesame).
- M3 Butternut Squash & Sweet Potato Risotto with Sage and garlic oil.
- D1 Passion Fruit Cheesecake with passion fruit and raspberry coulis - (Allergens: Gluten, Soya, Milk, Sulphur Dioxides Contains: Beef Gelatine) May Contain: Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Eggs, Sesame).
- D2 Tarte au Citron with Lemon curd mascarpone - (Allergens: Eggs, Milk - May Contain: Gluten, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Soya, Sesame, Sulphur Dioxide).
- D3 Chocolate & Orange Tart with Honey & orange syrup - (Allergens: Soya).
Cheese will follow dessert along with tea/coffee to finish the meal.
ACCOMMODATION: B&B at The Crowne Plaza is available at a preferential rate of £125/room/night for single occupancy. There is a £10 additional charge for double occupancy. Please follow this LINK to make your reservation. (You need to contact me to book your conference place – please do not forget!). Please amend the dates and number of people occupying the room as required but do not alter the rate as this has already been fixed. Alternatively call the hotel directly on 0191 562 3333 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and state that you are booking for the BASE-UK conference.
If you decide to book via a 3rd party internet site, you will not show on the BASE-UK bedroom booking list. If you experience any problem with bookings, please contact me as soon as possible.
Parking and Travel Information: The Crowne Plaza Newcastle is situated next to the Stephenson Quarter Car Park, where the hotel can be accessed from level 10. Parking Tariffs are as follows: Monday (00:00am) to Sunday (23.59pm) up to 4 hours £4.60, up to 12 hours £6.00 and up to 24 hours £12.00. Delegates will be able to pay for parking in the hotel prior to leaving.
Please enter the postcode NE1 3SA into your satnav this will bring you to the hotel. There is no parking outside the hotel, but you can drop off there.
For the Stephenson Quarter Car Park: Please enter the postcode NE1 3PH into your satnav. The hotel can be accessed from Level 10.
Walk from the Railway Station - Walk East (right out of the station) on Neville St towards Taxi Rank 2. Turn right onto Orchard St 3. Turn right onto Fourth St for approx. 0.1 miles – Your destination will be on the right. Approximately 6 minutes.
Train links are available from Newcastle International Airport to Newcastle Central Station are available.

- Wednesday 12th February:
- 8.30 am – Registration
- 9.30 am – Conference commences
- 5.30 pm - close of conference first day
- 7.30 pm – Dinner - prompt
- Thursday 13th February:
- 8.30 am – Registration. (Please check in even if you attended on day 1)
- 9.30 am – Conference commences
- 4.30 pm – Conferences closes – refreshments will be available if required prior to leaving.
